Q: Are your quotes free and will you come out to see us in our home?

A: Yes. Our consultations and quotes are free; you will find we will take the time to discuss your needs ensuring we can help you best. We will be able to give you a price range based on our experience that fits within your budget. That way we can design your kitchen and quote around your requirements. Your quote is then valid for three (3) months.

Q: Do you organise all the trades and project manage the kitchen renovation for me?

A: Yes. We can make the process easy for you. With sometimes up to in excess of 5 trades involved in a kitchen renovation, it’s critical to have a company like Blueprint Interiors that has reliable trades people and are experienced in this field.

Q. Are all Your Tradespeople Fully Qualified?

A. Yes they are! We also support Apprenticeships …

Q: How soon could you start once I have accepted your quote?

A: Once you have decided to go ahead we will come back out to see you, go over the finer details, and once you have signed your approval we will book in a start date and assuming there are no major problems with the water, electricity and other services then 4-5 weeks from when you sign the contract is quite usual and in some cases even sooner.

Q: How long will my kitchen be out of use?

A: For a complete kitchen remodel your kitchen will be unusable for about one to two weeks depending on what is involved. It is a good idea to set up alternative cooking arrangements within the home.

Q: How long will the whole kitchen remodelling process take?

A: Assuming there are no major problems with the water, electricity and other services then 4-5 weeks from when you you sign the contract is quite usual.

Q: Can you give me a general overview on the installation of a new kitchen?

A: Every kitchen installation is different, but generally the basic kitchen installation process includes these steps:

  1. Your old kitchen is removed and discarded.
  2. Any plumbing that is required, is installed and left turned off.
  3. New electrical, if required, is installed.
  4. The walls are repaired and prepped for paint, if required.
  5. The kitchen cabinets are installed.
  6. The bench top is measured, if wall removal has taken place otherwise refer to next step.
  7. The bench top is cut to size, and installed.
  8. The plumbing is connected and the kitchen is functional.
  9. If kitchen floor is required, this is done next.
  10. Once bench tops are fitted, if splash backs are required they are measured at this point and ordered. It can take up to 2 weeks for the splash backs to be supplied & installed.


Q: At what point do I need to select appliances?

A: ASAP! It is very important that you select your appliances before designing or at least early in the designing process. Designers need the exact measurements necessary to see that everything fits as it should in your kitchen.

Q: Do I have to be home during the renovation?

A: No. In You can rest assured knowing your home will be in good hands. You’ll have complete peace of mind working with Blueprint Interiors.

Q: Will my new kitchen come with a guarantee?

A: Yes. All work carried out by Blueprint Interiors is to the highest standards and exceeds today’s regulations and industry standards. The renovation is fully insured and then your kitchen will also be covered by a mandatory warranty period of six years. That’s the benefit of using a reputable company like Blueprint Interiors, giving you the peace of mind and certainty you deserve.

Q: Do you ask for payment to be made prior to us receiving our kitchen?

A. Blueprint Interiors requires a small deposit of 6.5% then further progress payments are required, as per the Home Building Contracts Act.
